Is it Christmas yet?
I had a panicked realization today that time is slipping through my aching fingers. Tonight I have to finish studying for my philosophy test (test, not final exam, thank God), do my last bit of homework for my online class (SO glad to see that one ending), and try to squeeze in some reading for my lit final on Monday, or maybe get some work done on the paper that's due a week from yesterday. Tomorrow's pretty much shot, between work and my test. I'm headed out to Dawn and Jason's tomorrow night. Now, logic suggests I should cancel and stay home to study, but the rest of my brain is giving logic the finger on that one.
Saturday brings a lit study session in the morning, and who knows how long that will run. That leaves Saturday night and Sunday to prepare outlines for the essay questions on my lit final, and work on my paper. You'll notice some classes I'm not studying for (like, oh, math). I'm thinking about pushing my work schedule all to the end of the week next week, and taking Tuesday off to actually write the paper.
It's also worth mentioning that I haven't done a lick of Christmas shopping yet. Granted, there isn't much to do this year (largely because there isn't much to spend), but still. Gah. Brain exploding now. I swear, to hell with my good intentions to write furiously over Christmas break, if this keeps up, I'm spending the week between Christmas and New Year's asleep in front of my TV.
