Graceful?

Rumpus needs to learn to stop pouncing at everything headfirst. From under the bed I hear *scrabble scrabble scrabble* followed by a hollow *bonk* as his head hit one of the railings. He pounces the reflection in the mirror -- *bonk*. He jumps about playing with one of his toys and doesn't see the wall in front of him -- *bonk*.

I've had him out all morning, and he and Pooka seem to be getting along pretty well. At one point this morning, Pooka came tearing into the living room, chased by Rumpus. About thirty seconds later, Rumpus dashed back to the bedroom, Pooka hot on his tail. It's interesting to watch Pooka set the guidelines for what's acceptable kitten behavior and what isn't. Pouncing at her is fine; pouncing ON her is not. No major skirmishes yet, cause Rumpus seems to be a quick learner.
