How did I ring in the new year?
Well, New Year's Day we had blackeyed peas and cabbage for luck and prosperity this year. We also had some of the yummiest ribs I've ever had in my life. I'm voting that we make THAT the New Year's tradition more than the peas and cabbage.

...cleaned out my car.
Now, those of you who've never seen my car say 'so what?' Or, I assume that's what you're saying, but I can't hear you over the sound of dropping jaws from people who HAVE seen my car. It's true, my car is clean. Or as clean as it's going to get. Once again there is room for more than one occupant, and the seats and floorboards are visible.
You know, while we were cleaning it out, I said "This is proof that I was absolutely crazy. Because sane people don't do this to their cars." So I think maybe that means I'm sane now. I don't know. :)
