25. The Iliad, Homer

Man, am I behind. I've read three books since my last update. And here's the first. It took me forever to read this. I started some time in May (yes, I admit it, after seeing Troy) and finished right before we moved in early July. I don't know that I can say I enjoyed reading it, but I'm glad that I did. It was some interesting insight into the stories I've been familiar with since I was a kid and into Greek culture.

Now I'm curious to read the Odyssey, but I think I'm going to give myself a long breather before reading any more ancient Greek literature...
