From Whence the MAD HADDers?

The MAD HADDers were born on May 1, 2002, truly an auspicious birthday for such an august assemblage of aspiring authors. We were born from a Dare, a daring dare at that: we vowed that for the month of April, each of us would write for no less than one hour everyday. We succeeded, by the spirit of the Dare, if not through the actual letter, and all of us did a prodigious amount of work during the month. So much so that we simply could not bear to see it end.

From that newly discovered work ethic, the MAD HADDers were born. We come here to gently encourage one another, with large sticks if necessary, to keep writing, keep editing, keep submitting, and keep focusing on the craft that draws us all together.
